一、作为一个美国人，他竟然对我国为文化如此热爱、对中医学说的认识比我国的同胞更深。我们有些人还不知道什么是五行哩，你有什么感想？
二 我们现在还有很多人反对学习外语，认为是多余的、浪费精力的，甚至是丢脸的。“老外要学中医，他们为们么不先学汉语？”我告诉你，他们来华前已掌握了基本的汉语。我们面对人家讲得一口流利的汉语时，我们连“How are you？”都不懂说，你有何感想呢？
三、希望大家作一次实践，为一位外国人会诊，听病人用英证自诉，考一考你的英语理解能力。
Dear Patrick Zhang，
I thank you so much for sending me your Fax with the explanation about my case. I do agree with you with every thing except the neurasthenia.
I do know that my immune and nervous systems are with normal. This pain Dr. Zhang is real and severe and very very uncomfortable. I started not to have any feeling around my ankles plus edemas. The blockage of kidney meridian (root of YIN & YANG) on my abdomen for a long time and cause the weakness and blockage of all other meridian. Therefore, I wake up at 3:00 a.m., every morning with severe pain on kidney meridian (abdomen) and a lot of false heat
Because the Qi cannot enter the lung cause of the blockage of the meridian so the Qi has nowhere to go. The only way to go to it is. The muscles on wei level all over my body, and this makes me fell it all over my body.
The unbelievable heat (yang) that also travels upwards as result of the destruction of my ying and kidney essence it is very painful.
Please Dr Zhang I need your help:
1.To open and unblock my meridians so the Qi can enter the lungs and go through the other meridians.
2.To balance my YIN and YANG and restore my kidney essence.
