其一
Having read your discussion
中医带徒,不失为一种培养中医师的良策,但这种作坊式的操作,毕竟不能等同于工厂式的大规模生产.中医教育的失败,不在于学校,而在于教师和教材.
I strongly agree with your discussions. It's true that Chinese
Medicine (CM) is facing severe challenge. Due to many reasons, I am the very
few CM practitioners in our generation who still stick to CM rather
than westernize it. From my practice, I know by sticking to CM, CM can be
superior to Western Medicine (WM) in many areas. Many of my patients
came from WM hospitals in the States.
Unfortunately, this (CM is superior to WM) is very hard for many people
to understand, esp in the States where Western Medicine dominates. We
face even more challenge to win a recognition here. However, I am
confident that CM will not die in our generation.
I am glad to see that there are some people with vision in China are
aware of this. Hoping more people can wake up, not only save CM, but
push it forward to challenge WM. Am I right?

其二
Although not in China, I deeply appreciate all your efforts to save CM. The combination between CM and WM should take CM as center. Otherwise, CM will die.
